Stephanie Evers Ard is the Social Sciences Librarian at the University of South Alabama's Marx Library. She holds an MLIS from the University of Alabama, an MA in English from USA, and a BA in English from the Mississippi University for Women.

In her free time, she performs with a comedy troupe called Commedia del Arte. She also enjoys traveling, baking pies, kayaking, watching Star Trek, reading science fiction and fantasy literature, and building costumes. She's also probably the world's biggest Muppets fan.

She lives in Mobile, Alabama, with her husband, Frank, her cats, Molly and Foggy, and her dog, Miles.
